A great castle of 520,000 koku of Chikuzen built by Kuroda Nagamasa, also known as Maizuru Castle. One of the largest castles in Kyushu, now developed as Maizuru Park; surviving structures including the Tamon turret and Shiomi turret convey the castle\'s former grandeur.
