The graves of brothers Hojo Ujimasa and Ujiteru, preserved near Odawara Station. These are the graves of the last lords of the Hojo clan who committed ritual suicide during Hideyoshi's siege. Hojo Ujimasa was born in 1538 as the eldest son of Hojo Ujiyasu. Succeeding his father as the fourth-generation Hojo lord, he maintained Hojo hegemony over Kanto. After the fall of Odawara Castle in 1590, Hojo Ujimasa was ordered by Hideyoshi to commit ritual suicide and is said to be buried at this site.

In 1590, Toyotomi Hideyoshi laid siege to Odawara Castle with an army of 200,000. After a three-month siege, the Hojo clan surrendered. On Hideyoshi's orders, the lord Ujimasa and his brother Ujiteru were forced to commit seppuku, ending the five-generation rule of the Hojo clan. This grave marks their final moment.
