概要
A Rinzai Daitokuji-branch temple founded in 1240 by Tanne at Yokodake in Dazaifu. Rebuilt in 1600 by Kuroda Nagamasa on the current Chiyo site after the 1586 Iwaya Castle fire, it served as the Kuroda family funerary temple for the entire Fukuoka domain. 由緒
Founded 1240 at Yokodake, Dazaifu. Moved to current site 1600 by Kuroda Nagamasa as Kuroda family funerary temple. Many halls lost in 1945 air raid. Gate, karamon, and Buddha hall are prefectural cultural properties.
