A Soto Zen temple in Naka-ku, Hiroshima, that served as a prayer temple for the Hiroshima domain. Said to have been founded by the Mori clan and later patronized by the Asano domain, the temple was destroyed in the atomic bombing but rebuilt after the war. Conveniently accessible by tram from Hiroshima Station.
