Kisshoji Temple in Komagome is the original temple whose name, through displaced parishioners after the Great Fire of 1657, gave the name 'Kichijoji' to what is now Musashino City. It enshrines Bishamonten as one of the Seven Lucky Gods.
Founded in 1458 (Kosho 4). After burning in the Great Fire of Meireki (1657), the displaced parishioners who moved to a new settlement named it 'Kichijoji-mura,' the origin of the modern Kichijoji place name in Musashino City.
Flourishing trade, new-shop openings, successful deals. A central prayer at Inari and Ebisu shrines.
Derived from the enshrined deity "毘沙門天"
