A Nichiren sect temple founded in 1659 (Manji 2). Located on Dokan-yama hill, it is a culturally precious temple with many monuments connected to poets and literati, including a Matsuo Basho haiku stone.
Averting disaster, directional protection, warding off epidemics. Central at Fudo, Kannon, and Gion-related sites.
