概要
An ancient Shingon Buzan temple traditionally founded by the monk Gyoki in the Tenpyo era (729–749). The large bronze Jizo statue (1714) is the fourth of the Edo Roku-Jizo and a Tokyo Metropolitan Cultural Property. Positioned at the entrance of Sugamo's Jizo-dori, it welcomes countless pilgrims year-round.
