Overview
Shorenji is an ancient temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect in Tebiro, Kamakura — mountain name Iimori-san, precinct name Nio-in. Tradition attributes its founding to Kukai (Kobo Daishi) in 819 (Konin 10).
