A Shingon Sennyuji temple said to have been founded by the monk Ennin, a disciple of Saicho, in the 848–851 period. The principal image, a Senju Kannon, is attributed to the Heian period. The grounds offer a panoramic view of Kyoto. The \'Choju Giga chozubachi\' hand-washing basin became a social media attraction in recent years. Located near Ryozen Gokoku Shrine.
