The hereditary mausoleum of the Matsudaira family, lords of Aizu Domain, located in Innai, Higashiyama-machi. Contains the graves of generations two through nine. Lord Matsudaira Katamori, the last Aizu daimyo and Protector of Kyoto during the Bakumatsu era, is buried here. Designated a National Historic Site.
In 1657, the second lord of Aizu Domain, Hoshina Masatsune, established the family mausoleum in the Innai district of present-day Higashiyama-machi, Aizuwakamatsu.
