概要
A Rinzai Myoshinji-ha temple in Aizu-Wakamatsu, founded in 1250 by Ashina Mitsumori. After the 1589 Battle of Suriagehara, Date Masamune is said to have established his headquarters at this temple when he conquered Aizu. Later under Aizu-Matsudaira patronage, the temple served as an official prayer site.
