A Shingon Chisan-branch temple in Kosugi Goten-cho, mountain-named Ryujukuzan with subsidiary title Kongo-in. Temple tradition holds that it was founded by Jikaku Daishi (Ennin) on his Eastern pilgrimage and restored by Saimyoji Nyudo (Hojo Tokiyori) in the Kamakura period.
