Site of a Nichiren-shu (Fuji-branch) temple founded in the early Keicho era (after 1597, during construction of the Nikaryo and Rokugo irrigation canals) behind the Kosugi Jinya. Founded after 1597 by canal administrator Koizumi Jidayu behind the Kosugi Jinya, with the monk Nichijun as founding abbot. Ieyasu and Hidetada often visited. Relocated 1619 to Isago in Kawasaki and renamed Myoon-ji. Only a Kannon-do remains at the original site.
