Hongakuji Kamakura Segaki Service
The Segaki service at Hongakuji in Kamakura, situated by the Ebisu-do Bridge. At this Nichiren sect temple, Obon Segaki rites offer prayers for souls suffering in the hungry ghost realm. Also known as the head temple for the Ebisu deity, the summer service deepens local residents' gratitude to their ancestors.
