概要
A Shinshu Takada temple founded in 1656 when priest Ien invited the 14th chief priest of Senju-ji. During the Bakumatsu period, it served as the French Legation. Destroyed by fire in both the Great Kanto Earthquake and the Yokohama air raids, it was rebuilt in reinforced concrete in 1971. The grounds contain a Yokohama City-designated notable ginkgo tree over 250 years old.
