Dojuin is a sub-temple of Tofukuji founded in the Bun-an era (1444–1448) by Kinkei Ryokun; its principal image, the Juwan Fudo Myoo statue, is designated an Important Cultural Property as a surviving Buddha from Hosei-ji, built by Fujiwara no Michinaga.
