A Kobo Daishi pilgrimage of 88
A Kobo Daishi pilgrimage of 88 Shingon temples across Osaka and Hyogo, founded in 1772–1781 by the monk Gekkai, modeled on the Shikoku 88. The circuit begins at Hourakuji in Sumiyoshi (No.1) and winds through central Osaka, northern Osaka, Settsu, and Kobe. Revived in 1980.
