概要
A Jodo sect Buddhist temple in central Nagoya, known as a branch temple of the famous Zenkoji in Nagano. It enshrines a replica of the venerable Amida Triad and has long been a center of Pure Land Buddhist faith for Nagoya residents.
由緒
慶長19年（1614年）頃、名古屋開府に伴い整備された寺町の一院。長野善光寺の分身本尊を祀り、江戸時代から市民の信仰を集める浄土宗寺院。

Around 1614, Zenkoji Nagoya was settled in this district, enshrining a replica of Nagano's sacred Amida Buddha and earning lasting devotion as "Nagoya's Zenkoji."
