概要
State shrine founded in 1892 at Emperor Meiji's behest, enshrining Emperor Go-Daigo of the Southern Court to honor the Kenmu Restoration. Solemn cypress halls stand on a hilltop at Yoshino-yama's entrance, commanding views of Mt. Kongo and Mt. Katsuragi. The treasury preserves Southern Court relics. 20-minute walk from Kintetsu Yoshino Jingu Station.
