Overview
An ancient shrine in Kayata, Yachiyo City, enshrining Iizuna Gongen, a deity of mountain Shugendo faith originating from Iizuna in Shinano Province. The sacred grove is designated a city preservation forest preserving the Musashino landscape. The main hall dates from the mid-Edo period with dragon and phoenix carvings.
