A Soto-shu Zen temple in Onomichi founded by shogun Ashikaga Yoshiakira in 1367 with Fumyo Kokushi as founding priest. The temple's Kaiun Pagoda, a three-story pagoda built in 1382, is an Important Cultural Property — originally five-story but reduced in 1692. The Five Hundred Rakan Hall houses 500 expressive Edo-period rakan statues.
Tenneiji Temple was founded in 1367 (Joji 6) by Ashikaga Yoshiakira, the second shogun of the Muromachi shogunate, with Fumyo Kokushi (Sekiya Shinryo) as its founding priest.
