概要
The head temple of the Shingon-shu Daigo-ha in Onomichi, founded by Gyoki in the Tenpyo era (729-749). Famous for the giant 2-metre straw sandals hanging at its entrance, symbolizing prayers for healthy legs. The main hall and three-story pagoda, both from the Muromachi period, are designated Important Cultural Properties.
