A Wa-shu (Tendai-affiliated) temple in Reijin-cho, Tennoji Ward, one of the sub-temples of Shitennoji. Originally called Arisu-ji. In 1640, High Priest Enkai built a stage-style main hall modeled after Kyoto's Kiyomizu-dera and invited a Senju Kannon image from there.
