A charming tea retreat opened to the public in the Taisho period, originally the retirement home of a businessman built at the foot of Ichijoji. The garden features three tea rooms and scattered stone Buddhas. The outer gate is a relocated tea-room gate from the Yabunouchi school of tea. Matcha is served to visitors. The autumn foliage and fresh greenery are said to be the finest in Ichijoji.
