Overview
An Engishiki-listed shrine in Ninomiya, ranked as the Second Shrine of Sagami Province. Minamoto no Yoritomo dedicated a sacred horse here in 1192 when praying for Masako's safe delivery. It participates in the ancient Kono Festival every May 5th alongside the other five Sagami shrines.

An Engishiki-listed shrine ranked as the Second-rank Grand Shrine of Sagami Province. Records remain showing that in 1192, Yoritomo dedicated a divine horse here to pray for Masako's safe childbirth.
