An Engishiki-listed shrine in Ninomiya, ranked as the Second Shrine of Sagami Province. Minamoto no Yoritomo dedicated a sacred horse here in 1192 when praying for Masako's safe delivery. It participates in the ancient Kono Festival every May 5th alongside the other five Sagami shrines.
