Located in Tarui, Gifu Prefecture, Nangū Taisha is the Ichinomiya of the former Mino Province and the head shrine of all mining and metalworking in Japan. Traditionally founded in the age of Emperor Jimmu as the Ichinomiya of Mino Province. Listed as a Myōjin Taisha in the Engishiki (927).
