Ruins of a Honganji-affiliated temple that served as the nerve center of the Nagashima Ikko-ikki. Founded in 1501 by Rennyo"s sixth son, Renjun, the temple commanded the wajuu polder lands of the lower Kiso River in Ise Nagashima.
