Iwase Senzuka Kofun Cluster is a group of over 800 burial mounds from the 5th-7th centuries on the south bank of the Kinokawa River. Encompassing keyhole, round, and square tomb types, it traces the evolution of Kofun-period burial practices. The mounds are attributed to the Ki clan, a powerful regional family linked to the Yamato court. A Special National Historic Site.
