Konzoji is the 76th Shikoku pilgrimage temple in Zentsuji City, enshrining Yakushi Nyorai. Belonging to the Tendai Jimon school, it is celebrated as the birthplace of Chisho Daishi Enchin (814–891), who revitalized Tendai Buddhism.
