Takaosan Yakuoin Autumn Foliage Festival
The autumn foliage festival held at Takaosan Yakuoin in November. Goma fire rituals and special viewings take place against a backdrop of vivid autumn colors covering the entire mountain. The biggest autumn event at Mt. Takao, visited by over 3 million people annually, drawing pilgrims and hikers when the whole mountain is ablaze with fall foliage.
