Entsuin is a Rinzai-sect temple adjacent to Zuiganji in Matsushima, founded in 1647 as the mausoleum of Mitsumune, Masamune's grandson who died at 19. Its Sankei-den (Important Cultural Property) features Japan's oldest painted roses. Known as the "rose temple" and a popular spot for love-related prayers.
