概要
The chief guardian shrine of Chigasaki, enshrining Emperor Ojin, Emperor Chuai, and Empress Jingu, revered as deities of military victory, child-rearing, and good relationships. The tabunoki (bay laurel) trees in the precincts, centuries old, are designated Kanagawa Prefectural Natural Monuments. The shrine has protected the coastal communities of Sagami Province for over a millennium.
