Zuiryuji in Takaoka, Toyama, is a Soto Zen temple built as the family temple of Maeda Toshinaga of the Kaga domain. Its Somon, Sanmon, Butsuden, and Hatto in a straight line are collectively a National Treasure — a masterpiece of early Edo Zen architecture. The Butsuden, Hatto, and Sanmon are National Treasures; corridors are Important Cultural Properties.
