A Tendai temple in Yoshioka, an ancient Shugendo-connected temple on the slopes of Mount Funao.
The principal Fudo Myoo, said to be carved by Kobo Daishi Kukai, is devotedly worshipped for its divine efficacy.
Surrounded by Mount Funao's nature, a tranquil space awaits visitors at the top of stone stairs.
