Site of the Kyoshin Meichi-ryu swordsmanship school founded in 1773 by the first Momonoi Shunzo (Naoyoshi) at Minami-Kayabacho in Nihonbashi and later relocated by the second Shunzo (Naokazu) to Asari-gashi in Minami-Hatchobori Otomi-cho (present-day Shintomi, Chuo-ku). 由緒
Founded 1773 by the first Momonoi Shunzo at Minami-Kayabacho and later moved to Asari-gashi. One of the Three Great Bakumatsu Edo Dojo, famed as "Dignity of Momonoi." Trained Takechi Hanpeita and Okada Izo of the Tosa Loyalist Party. Disbanded in 1885.
