Overview
A Tenmangu shrine in Sakado City, enshrining Sugawara no Michizane and known for blessings of exam success and academic achievement. During exam season, the precinct fills with ema votive tablets from students and their families. Plum trees loved by Michizane bloom beautifully in early spring.
