Origins
奈良時代(751年)に勝福上人が十一面観音を安置したのが始まりとされる。鎌倉時代に現在地に移転。室町時代に七堂伽藍が整備された。「会陽(はだか祭り)」は500年以上の歴史を持つ。国の重要無形民俗文化財。
