A National Historic Site in Midori-ku, Nagoya, where young Ieyasu successfully ran a daring supply mission for the Imagawa. The night before Okehazama, he launched a diversionary attack with 1,000 men on Terabe and Umetsubo forts. While Oda forces were distracted, he led 800 men to resupply Otaka Castle. Origins
Date of construction unknown, but it served as an Imagawa front line in the Sengoku period. Just before Okehazama in 1560, young Ieyasu successfully resupplied the castle.
