Keishun-in, a sub-temple of Myoshin-ji, was founded in 1598 by Oda Hidenori, grandson of Oda Nobunaga through his eldest son Nobutada. Though Nobunaga and Nobutada both perished in the Honno-ji Incident of 1582, their bloodline endured through this temple, built in Kyoto by their descendant and still preserving the memory of the Oda clan amid its four Zen gardens.
