A mountain shrine at the summit of Mt. Mitake (929m) in Okutama, said to have been founded in the reign of Emperor Sujin. Yamato Takeru was guided by a divine wolf here during his eastern campaigns, giving rise to the unique 'Oinusama' (wolf deity) worship. Dog-blessing rituals are also performed.
