概要
Founded in 1092 by Kawasaki Motoie, ancestor of the Shibuya clan, as guardian of Shibuya Castle. Connected to the origins of the Shibuya place name. Famous for the Kinno Cherry Tree with both single and double petals on one branch. Ieyasu donated funds for the shrine building in 1612.
由緒
Founded in 1092 as guardian of Shibuya Castle. Named after Konno-maru who served Minamoto no Yoshitomo in the Hogen Rebellion. In 1612, Tokugawa Ieyasu donated funds for the current shrine buildings which survive to this day.
