A Soto Zen temple founded by Ota Dokan inside Inatsuke Castle in 1476 (Bunmei 8). It enshrines Sho-Kanzeon Bosatsu — the personal Buddha image of Ota Dokan — as its principal image, and a wooden statue of Dokan is also kept here. Shibusawa Eiichi

Shibusawa Eiichi lived at his Asukayama residence for about 40 years from 1879 until his death at age 91 in 1931. Here he was involved in establishing approximately 500 companies and hosted dignitaries from around the world. Most of the residence was destroyed in the 1923 earthquake, but the Seien Bunko library and Bankaro reception hall survive as Important Cultural Properties.
