A Hiyoshi faith shrine in Takahana, Inzai, enshrining Oyamakui no Mikoto, serving as the tutelary shrine of Chiba New Town. Invited from Hiyoshi Taisha on Mt. Hiei, it offers blessings for direction protection and disaster avoidance. Predating the new town development, it plays an important role connecting old and new residents as the community's guardian deity.
Takao Jinja is traditionally said to have been founded around 1350, during the Shohei era of the Nanbokucho period. The enshrined deity is Oyamakui no Mikoto, invited from Hiyoshi Taisha on Mt.
