A Tendai temple in Ichihara said to have been founded by Gyoki during his pilgrimage through Kazusa Province. Enshrining Juichimen Kanzeon Bosatsu (Eleven-Faced Kannon), it has long attracted pilgrims as a sacred site. The Niomon gate is estimated to be from the Muromachi period, with powerful statues of the Nio guardian kings welcoming visitors.
