One of the Five Northern Temples of Lake Hamana. The Buddha hall built in Ming-dynasty Chinese style is designated a National Important Cultural Property. Founded by Zen Master Dokuon, this Obaku Zen temple retains a distinctive atmosphere of Chinese culture.
