概要
The largest guardian shrine of the Koiwa district in Nishi-Koiwa, Edogawa Ward, enshrining Susanoo as its principal deity. Originating in the medieval period on the border of Musashi and Shimosa provinces, it grew by merging surrounding shrines after the Meiji era. The July 'Koiwa Gion' festival is one of Edogawa Ward's biggest celebrations.
