A Katori shrine in Abiko enshrining Futsunushi no Mikoto, invited from Katori Jingu, the first shrine of Shimosa Province. Located in Shimosa Province within the sphere of Katori Jingu faith, it was revered by Shimosa warriors for military fortune in the Kamakura period. Chikara-ishi (strength stones) in the grounds are remnants of Edo-period youth strength competitions.
