A Yamagata Prefecture Kannon pilgrimage of 33 sites established in the early Edo period. The route runs from Site 1 Jakusho-ji (Tendo) to Site 33 Niwatsuki Kannon (Sakegawa Village), tracing 33 Kannon temples across the former Dewa Province. The 33 stations are widely distributed across Yamagata, Tendo, Kaminoyama, Sagae, Higashine, Murayama, Obanazawa, Shinjo, Kanayama, Sakegawa, and Yamanobe, allowing pilgrims to experience the Kannon devotional sphere of Dewa
