One of the Takeda Four Generals. Lacking flashy battlefield exploits, he was nonetheless trusted absolutely by Shingen, who said "With Naito present, war councils are secure." He excelled in administration and was entrusted with governing Kozuke Province (Gunma). He died alongside Yamagata Masakage and Baba Nobuharu at the Battle of Nagashino.

A pragmatist who valued coordination and administration over battlefield glory. Recognized by Shingen as an indispensable presence who kept war councils calm with steady judgment — an unsung pillar.

As one of the Takeda Four Generals he worked hard governing Kozuke. While lacking flashy achievements, his contribution as a coordinator with Shingen's absolute trust was immense in supporting Takeda governance.
