Son of Kira Naritaka, lord of Setagaya Castle. He resided at both Setagaya and Maita Castles and was called "Lord of Setagaya" and "Lord of Maita." After Hojo Ujitsuna captured Edo Castle in 1524, he allied with the Later Hojo and married Ujitsuna's daughter. He died on January 10, 1562, and was buried at Shokokuji Temple in Maita.
